Routine appointments are the foundation to a healthy mouth and dazzling smile. Our hygiene services will help you build strong healthy habits so you can continue to show off your contagious smile. Some of our services include:

• Professional plaque and tartar removal for a cleaner smile
• Stain removal (polishing) for a brighter smile
• Oral cancer screening to prevent any serious issues from arising in the future
• Gum disease assessment and education so your smile can last for years to come
• Oral hygiene and dietary guidance
• Digital radiographs, as needed to spot any areas of concern
• Fluoride application to strengthen weak enamel

We recommend most patients have a preventive appointment every six months, for optimum oral health. Putting cleanings off longer than six months can allow excess tartar buildup that can lead to gum disease and bone loss. Regular care also helps us screen for conditions before they cause major problems later on.

Delivering fresh smiles in a friendly way.

An RDH will use gentle ultrasonic instrumentation to vibrate and remove plaque bacteria away from the teeth and gum lines. Hand instrumentation may be used for localized scaling or on younger children. Light polishing removes stains from coffee, tea, or smoking after the teeth have been cleaned. If necessary, we may also recommend a topical fluoride treatment to strengthen your tooth enamel and prevent decay or sensitivity. Most cleaning appointments take no longer than one hour.
