We diagnose gum disease through a series of radiographs and a clinical examination, pinpointing the severity of the disease and creating a custom treatment plan that will save your gums, teeth, and smile.

Our approach to eliminating Gum Disease: Deep cleanings & nonsurgical periodontal therapy

Our comprehensive periodontal therapy involves cleaning calcified bacteria – such as tartar from the teeth – making routine oral hygiene easier. We create a clean environment within your smile so that gum disease can be eliminated.

For most cases, we will schedule 2 separate appointments to fully clean each side of the mouth individually. Ultrasonic instrumentation provides easy, effective bacteria removal. Local anesthesia or laughing gas may be administered to lightly treat discomfort, but deeper sedation is also available upon request. We may recommend a follow-up appointment to ensure that symptoms are reversed.
